In just a few short weeks, Mattern will begin distributing the 2010 Cost Recovery Survey. Mattern conducts this survey every two years. We expect to see some changes in the areas of print and scan recoveries, as well as overall cost recovery strategy. In 2008, the last time we surveyed firms, the economic picture was quite different. Now well into the current economic downturn, it will be interesting to see if firms have changed their cost recovery policies. This year, we expect to receive completed surveys from more than 100 firms. Past respondents have come from firms of all sizes, and from a wide variety of main practice areas and geographic areas. This time around, we expect several Canadian firms to respond as well.
