Glen Mills, PA – December 22, 2009 – Legal support services consulting firm Mattern & Associates, LLC announced today that it has successfully conducted and completed a facilities management evaluation and outsourcing RFP project for California law firm Best Best & Krieger, LLP (BBK). As a result of Mattern’s work on its behalf, BBK consolidated its outsourced support services from three vendors to one and will now be saving 23% per year compared to what it had been paying for the same services.
Mattern & Associates consultants first assessed the firm’s current situation by performing a Best Practices Operational Review of the outsourced support services operation. They then assessed the firm’s contractual situation, benchmarked the current cost, and developed a firm-wide strategy for support services. Next, Mattern conducted an RFI to assist the firm in choosing the vendors to receive the RFP. Once the winning vendor, Merrill Communications LLC, was selected by BBK, Mattern managed the contract negotiation process until the agreement was signed.
