December Coffee Break: “Examining The Impact of AI on Administrative Support”

Firms are expecting to lose 58% of their traditional legal secretarial pool in the next five years due to retirement and attrition, but there is also an insufficient talent pipeline to fill these open positions. As a result, most firms rate the difficulty of hiring like-for-like replacements in their admin support at a 7 out of 10 with diminishing possibilities in the future.

These challenges around administrative support were accelerated by hybrid operations and will be again by the introduction of AI. How will firms meet the future without the right model?

Zach Warren, Technology & Innovation Insights Lead at Thomson Reuters Institute, joined Administrative Services Expert and Mattern Consultant, Cory Riner, in an interactive high-level discussion of what the future of administrative support will look like in law firms and how to structure a new and measurably successful + measurably cost-effective support model today that is future-ready.
